Voice-Acoustic has published a practical handbook for directional subwoofer configurations.
The new publication offers valuable tips for the optimal use of bass systems to Voice-Acoustic users and sound engineers.
The German manufacturer, known for its innovative and powerful "Made in Germany" sound reinforcement solutions, has published a handbook offering valuable support to sound engineers in the use and setup of subwoofer systems.
Providing expertise on various subwoofer arrangements, the practical handbook explains the differences between the Voice-Acoustic CSAG and CSAE cardioid settings. Alongside technical fundamentals and physical principles, it provides guidance on optimising the placement of subwoofer systems in various application scenarios.
"With this handbook, we want to share our experience in subwoofer design and practical application," says Stefan Rast, founder and CEO of Voice-Acoustic. "It is aimed at anyone who wants to achieve optimal solutions in the low-frequency range, whether for touring, fixed installations or mobile events."
The handbook is clearly structured and vividly illustrated, offering both beginners and technicians information on how to improve bass reproduction in practice.
It is now available to download for free as a PDF on the Voice-Acoustic website:
The cardioid presets are already available in the Voice-Acoustic FIR Library of the VADAS and the HDSP-GEN3 amplifier and self-powered electronics. For the HDSP-DA/DDA electronics, the presets will also be available with the update to FIR settings in Q4/2025.
