The Voice-Acoustic HDSP MK³ amplifier series sets new standards in audio amplification and fulfils the highest requirements for audio quality and operational reliability. Developed for the discerning user, the five new powerful 4- and 8-channel HDSP MK³ models offer maximum flexibility and an increase in overall performance of up to 100 %.
Superior performance and reliability
The HDSP-8K8, -16K8 and -16K4 amplifiers are designed with Voice-Acoustic Dual-Technology, which guarantees maximum operational reliability thanks to several highly efficient Class-D modules with their own power supply units and separate DSP boards. Compared to conventional multi-channel amplifiers, which are fed by a single power supply, the new HDSP MK³ amplifiers with Dual-Technology offer maximum performance and extended headroom without mutual interference between the channels. The modular design of all models enables components to be replaced quickly and minimizes downtime in the case of servicing.
Optimized cooling and robust design
The intelligent wide-range switched-mode power supply units in the HDSP MK³ series automatically adapt to the voltage, allowing them to be used worldwide. Excellent cooling is provided by 3 respectively 6 low-noise fans. The electronics are installed in a sturdy and torsion-resistant 19” aluminium housing with an upside-down design. This design prevents dust deposits on the circuit boards and extends the service life of the electronic components.
First-class sound quality and comprehensive DSP functions
The integrated DSP board works with a 64-bit/96 kHz sample rate in audiophile sound quality. Premium converters guarantee a dynamic range of 120 dB and can handle input levels of up to +23 dBu. The new HDSP MK³ amplifier series comes with FIR loudspeaker presets and various cardioid options for subwoofers. At the user control level, the user has access to 10 parametric filters, compressors, flexible routing, a long delay section (up to 275 m) and input limiters. The ability to load presets for each output channel offers the user maximum flexibility.
Easy control and network capability
The amplifier models in the HDSP MK³ series can be operated either manually on the display or comfortably via the VA-WLAN remote software for PC and Mac. This software enables the networking, grouping, control and monitoring of up to 128 amplifiers or self-powered loudspeakers in real time. In addition, both the new HDSP MK³ models and the discontinued HDSP-DA/DDA models can be operated in the same network and controlled and monitored together by the VA-WLAN remote software. The software provides comprehensive feedback on the system status, including headroom, temperature and impedance measurement.
